A Prayer for Thanksgiving Day Meal

Blessed are you, Lord, God of all Creation. Through your goodness we enjoy the fruits of the earth and share the loving gifts of family and friendship. We ask your blessing on our table and home. We offer thanks for the love with which this festive meal was prepared, and for the love which brings us together to partake in this meal. In gratitude for your continued care for us, make us mindful of the needs of others. May we show our thankfulness in the manner of our living. May our hearts be filled with love and praise.

We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen
