Lakewood Catholic Parishes will be having a 40 Hours Devotion. This event will take place at St. Luke parish (1212 Bunts Rd, Lakewood, Ohio 44107).
Why 40 Hours?
Since the 16th century there has been a long standing practice in the Church to recall the 40 hours that Christ spent in the tomb through the practice of Eucharistic Adoration. In light of the Eucharistic Revival taking place across the country, we wanted to offer this opportunity to draw closer to Christ who is truly present in the Eucharist.
We would love for you to sign up and dedicated at least an hour of adoration in the presence of Our Lord in the Most Holy Eucharist.

Schedule:
- October 18: Kickoff at 7pm. Special sermon given by Fr. Patrick Schultz. Adoration continues until 11pm.
- October 19: Morning prayer and Adoration will begin at 9:00am and continues until 4:30pm with the Vigil Mass. Adoration continues following the Vigil Mass until 11pm, with Solemn Evening Prayer at 7:00pm.
- October 20: Adoration begins at 8:00am until 9AM Mass. Adoration will resume at 10AM until the 11AM Mass. Concluding the 11AM Mass there will be a short procession the church with benediction. A gathering for all with desserts and appetizers will follow benediction.
